Our Annual Art classes for KIDS
Wednesdays: 10:00PM to 11:30AM / 1:30PM to 3:00PM / 4:30PM to 6:00PM
Thursdays: 4:45PM to 6:15PM
Creating BOOKS, PAINTINGS, STORIES, PUPPETS and all OBJECTS that a child can imagine. An approach that harmoniously blends imagination, creativity and technical mastery. From 5 to 99 years old!
The Atelier des Lutins welcomes children starting from age 5 one and a half hours per week during the school year. In order to promote exchanges, spontaneity and the development of the imagination, children from the ages of 5 to 12 work within the same group.
For older children, as of age 13: creative expression classes, high-level fine arts techniques, the creation of books and fine bookbinding.
During the school year, each child makes one or several illustrated books, depending on his or her rhythm.
The classes at the Atelier des Lutins are multi-disciplinary.
Each child at the Atelier is like an artist in his or her own studio. Based on their wishes and their interests, they can experiment with various techniques. The participants can try out drawing and painting, modeling or tinkering, illustration and story writing, the creation of puppets or sewing. By trying out various techniques, children find the ones that best suit their expression.
These classes run for the school year in order to develop technical mastery and perseverance and above all for real deployment of creative expression.
All of the materials and the personalized hand-made binding of each book are provided by the Atelier.
"BLOCKX" watercolors, "Arches" paper, "Golden" acrylics, "Sennelier" pastels, and Neocolors. And also fabrics, beads and buttons, wire, wood and autumn leaves, ribbons, wool and lace, pebbles, sand and shells. With their beauty and quality, these materials invite us to enjoy the process of design, creation and realization.
Customized fine bookbinding is hand-made for the creations of each child by the team of the Atelier.
